“It means the world to me for my kids to go to the YMCA for childcare. I would have not been able to work as an essential employee during this time if the Y had not been here for our family. I am a pharmacy technician at Rite Aid and with the schools not being in session we had no childcare options. I know that they will be well cared for, safe, clean, and happy while at the Y.

My kids love the Y because they get to be active. They LOVE the pool! They ask me all the time when they can go swimming. They also like the rock wall and they have done hockey as well as swim lessons. I can’t wait to get back to do some swim classes myself and walk the track. I was recently diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis and I have to do PT so I figured a swim class wouldn’t hurt. This is our second year as Y members, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Please thank all your staff for the amazing job they are doing. I really wish I could do more to show my appreciation. My kids being in a safe place puts my mind at ease while I am at work during this unprecedented event in time.”
