Take Action to Improve Heart Health

The simple process of checking and recording your blood pressure at least twice a month over a prior of four months has been shown to lower blood pressure in some people with hypertension. The YMCA's Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring is an evidence-based program that features personalized support for developing a blood pressure self-monitoring routine, tips for maintaining your cardiovascular health, and nutrition education. In this 16-week program, you will meet twice per month with a YMCA wellness coach and attend one nutrition seminar each month. Registration is open at no cost for YMCA members.
