Financial Assistance

YMCA Buffalo Niagara is here to provide access for all. Financial assistance for membership is available thanks to generous donor support of the YMCA’s Annual Campaign and Turkey Trot. 

Our Access for All program provides financial assistance for YMCA membership to those in need, within our available resources. Financial assistance amounts are granted based on the applicant’s demonstrated need due to household income and/or extenuating circumstances. 

Applying for assistance is easy – when signing up for membership online please enter your household income range and the assistance level will be applied automatically to your membership rate. Or simply stop by the Member Services desk at one of our locations to apply in person. Proof of household income, in the form of IRS Form 1040, will need to be shown within seven days of signing up either online or in person.

Participants requesting financial assistance for specific programs such as child care or summer camp should fill out the ‘Access for All’ program application form, and bring this, along with corresponding documentation, to a Member Services desk at one of our branches.
